The pop-out outlet allows you to plug 3 cords into this outlet, but best of all, when nothing is plugged in, the pushed in outlet presents a clean, sophisticated look. Great for use in bathrooms and kitchens and other places where frequently un-used outlets are the rule rather than the exception.
