We installed this in a small but important vestibule in our house. The fixture needed to be unobtrusive and also work with the lower ceiling height. The glass is thicker on the bottom, similar to a high ball drinking glass or a vintage jar and this creates an interesting detail, but the circular shape is very clean and minimal/modern. We went with the black trim and it's sharp. I'm an architect and very selective about design, output, and price, and this one ticked all those boxes. I'm very happy with this fixture.
