Clean and contemporary, the Louis Poulsen PH 4 1/2 - 3 1/2 Glass Table Lamp from Louis Poulsen is a product of designer Paul Henningsen's groundbreaking 1920s development of the reflective three-shade system. Throughout his career, he aimed for glare-free lighting, directing light where needed and creating soft shadows using incandescent bulbs. The PH 4½-3½ Glass Table is part of this iconic family. Based on the logarithmic spiral, Henningsen's scientific approach achieved even light distribution and control over glare and shadow, with each shade equally reducing light.
