Classic modern lighting...

I have a sloped ceiling. Though I love the look of this light, I am disappointed in how it works on a sloped ceiling. The front, shade section articulates front to back, but not left to right, so it is always "slanted" on a sloped ceiling. Other than that it is great. But be aware, if you have a sloped ceiling, that you may not be happy. I wish I had known this; I would have selected something else.

Doesn't swivel smoothly. Instead, its actually quite noisy. Arms are not straight. Doesn't hold position well when adjusted, despite having tightened the knobs at the three bends. One of those products that's better in theory (or in photos) than in reality.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Artemide

Artemide takes its name from Artemis, the Greek goddess of the moon—a reflection of the brand’s ethos in creating fixtures that deliver an elegant, ethereal glow. Founded in Milan in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza, Artemide has been a driving force in Italian modern design.
