Available now with a smooth metal construction, it consists of a wide, gracefully curved shade that rests on the end of a slim cord. A half-dome diffuser lies directly beneath the shade, containing the integrated LED that emits a bright and focused glow. The shade cascades it across the room, creating a warm, glare-free layer of light.

I bought these pendants for our kitchen island. I wanted something that had great modern, minimalist design, and also a small profile so we can see the magnificent view of the 1000 Islands outside our window. These pendants are perfect. So much so we have just ordered the Ginger 3 light fixture for above our dining table.

Marset

Marset was established in 1942 as a family business, not making lighting, but as a foundry. That foundation in casting metals did eventually segue into lighting design, however, with Francisco Marset formally establishing Marset Illuminacion in 1965. The decades spent experimenting with and molding metal translated well into the contemporary lighting industry: manipulating all kinds of materials to create unexpected, atmospheric lighting effects.
