Its ringed silhouette consists of parallel handcrafted, kiln-fused, textured glass panels that are joined by finished metal inserts. These metal inserts contain Cree brand integrated LEDs that sit flush behind Frosted Glass diffusers, pointed both down and sideways for a dazzling display once lit.

This is a beautiful fixture, very well built and aesthetically impressive. It did have some hairline cracks in the lens covering the light source. However - that part is not visible and it did not impede the installation. I took it as a side effect of shipping.
