hunterfan.comI have had 4 Casablanca Fans. This is the first one I had to replace. The fan is nice, but I don't feel the quality is the same. I purchased the Panama White. Very plain no gold metal on it. I ordered a remote control, and it is not compatible with this fan. The electrician said it probably needs a different receiver. Now since it was opened, they may not accept the remote return. I've had my other Casablanca fans for over 30 years and that is why I came back to purchase another. The older models had some gold on them to make them look much prettier.

hunterfan.comThis is the 5th Panama fan we have owned over the years. This one replaced one we owned for 25 years. We opted to purchase the DC motor with this purchase. The fan has 6 settings which is ideal Panama fans are very well built, quiet and move air efficiently. They are more expensive than other options the price differential is offset by their durability

Casablanca Fan Company
Burton A. Burton originally joined the U.S. ceiling fan market with a belt-driven ceiling fan intended for commercial use. Then the energy crises of the mid-1970s hit, and Burton took his ceiling fan to the residential market, officially kicking off the Casablanca Fan Company in 1974. As the market grew, so did Casablanca Fans' line of decorative ceiling fans.
