Made in Czech Republic
The Overlay Table Lamp from Brokis positions a horizontal glass light tube just above a rectangular concrete base for a compact, architectural composition. Designed by Lucie Koldova, its contemporary, industrial styling comes through in the simple geometry and contrast between translucent glass and substantial concrete. Slim metal structures support the lighting components, while fragments of upcycled glass add subtle surface variation to each base. The low proportions fit comfortably on a console, sideboard, or desk, providing focused light without blocking surrounding decor or taking up excessive surface space.

Brokis

Brokis was founded in 2010 by a group of glass artisans based in the Czech Republic. Though their company is young, the designers’ accumulated experience in the age-old art of Bohemian glassblowing has bolstered their portfolio with a range of quality hand-made lamps. Their lighting collections have since achieved acclaim by combining traditional, hand-blown glass with other high-quality materials, such as wood and hand-pressed metal.
