Outline a space in your room for a personal and restful experience with the Outline Highback Lounge Chair from Muuto. Creator Anderssen & Voll adhere to Scandinavian design principles while referencing a 60s modern aesthetic. The studio’s work invites one to hone in on their senses. To achieve this in the chair, peripheral sight and sounds are limited by tall walls. Nudging armrests frame the sides of the walls. A back and seat rest slot at the base with deep cushioning so that time melts away. Every element making contact with one’s body receives a textile wrapping for a soft and cozy feeling.

Muuto

Muuto was founded in 2006 by Peter Bonnen and Kristian Byrge who wanted to have their products represented in leading design shops around the world. Their name is inspired by the Finnish word “muutos,” meaning “change” or “new perspective,” and it is this concept that embodies the spirit within each and every piece. Their fearless, sometimes exclusive, use of raw materials such as bulbs, plastics, and metals, represents the great diversity, innovation, and character of true Scandinavian design.
