kichler.com/I live in South Florida and installed the fixture in a 12ft. High alcove. No direct rain, however I have had to replace (4) bulbs in 3 months and the chain is rusted. Spec sheet indicates that the fixture requires 100 watt "incandescent" bulb. Installed unprofessionally by me and like most DIYrs I have done dozens fixtures in 30 years of home ownership. This product was priced slightly higher than the standard no name HD products so I figured I would get a product that would last longer than 5-6 years, I was very wrong.
