Hardworking Lamp!

Love the retro style. Very sturdy, and lots of adjustments to get it just the way you want it for your task.
design classic
This Anglepoise lamp arrived in good condition. It was easy to put together, and I am not handy. I admire the classic design and the delicate balance, which can be adjusted by means of a little wrench that comes with it. I am an editor, and I like the way I can position the lamp exactly where I need it.
Classic design
This table lamp is a classic design, barely changed over the years they've been around. The base is nice and heavy. The whole lamp is very well made. The black color looks stylish.
A perfect modern classic
These lamps would enhance any décor, from City sophisticated to Country farmhouse. They are sturdy as well as handsome and they provide great reading light on bedroom end-tables. I do wish they had dimmer switches.

sexy, gleaming, and beautifully functional. desk perfected.
Anglepoise
Anglepoise started in 1899 by Herbert Terry and sons. They originally sold products that used their springs, like toasters, bike seats and spring clips. It wasn't until 1931 when George Carwardine established a theory for using balanced weights with these springs that Anglepoise introduced lighting to the company.
