Designer Arturo Alvarez creates pieces that make one feel. The storied designer’s work feels like a magical experience. With this pendant, Alvarez harnesses the fluid, sculptural nature of steel mesh. Craftsmen shape the mesh into a charming dome form draped in beautiful curve contours. The marine-like dome shade awes with a rich texture created by a hand-painted surface. When turned on, the pendant bursts with ultra-fine highlights and produces a curvy silhouette. The light softens through the shade as a radiant ambiance and down glow.
a-emotional light was founded in 1994 as “a by arturo alvarez.” Rebranded in 2020, a-emotional light brings a family of products each unique and irregular, inspired by the landscape of Galica in Northwestern Spain where the company is based.
