The receiver fit right into the fan base without a bit of trouble. When you first see the receiver, you think there's no way it'll fit because it looks too big. But it will fit just right. No worries. I would recommend to buy either a cradle for the remote or at the very least, a specified place to keep it as the remote is quite small and unobtrusive. The remote works just great, no problems.

Easy to install but photos misleading on features.

I needed to replace a discontinued remote on my Hunter fan. This product was easy to replace and worked out of the box without pairing. However, the photos listing the features and included cradle are incorrect. No cradle was included and the fan only has 1 speed. Q&A section doesn't have a solution to the fan speed so assuming it's multiple clicks of the fan button is incorrect.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

This was a huge disappointment when I placed a rather large order. To not have wall mounts for the remotes seems extremely short sighted.

Hunter Fans

In 1886, the foundation for Hunter Fans was laid when John Hunter and his son, John C. Hunter, engineered the first water-driven ceiling fan for Tuerk Water Meter Co. in Syracuse, NY. By 1896, they had acquired Tuerk company, transforming it into the Hunter Fan & Motor Co. and launching the AC-powered Tuerk Type A fan in Fulton, NY. Over the years, Hunter expanded its product line to include oscillating desk fans, pedestal fans, attic fans, air conditioning units, air purifiers, humidifiers and even decorative lighting.
