The Nakashima Coffee Table from Knoll presents a smooth synthesis of traditional design and straightforward modern presentation. The underside of the table is stamped with the signature of designer George Nakashima and is framed in solid walnut with subtle brass accents. Its slender, splayed legs elevate the flat tabletop, with a low-sheen finish that allows the smooth veneers and wood grain to showcase the warm beauty of the wood. Meanwhile, subtle yet strong joinery demonstrates the legendary craftsmanship of the designer, evident in the piece's essential structure.

Knoll

For more than 80 years, Knoll has created furniture designs that evolve and endure. With a distinctly modern sensibility, along with a commitment to sustainability, Knoll’s catalog represents many iconic pieces of mid-century modern furniture such as the Barcelona Chair by Mies Van Der Rohe, the Bertoia Barstool by Harry Bertoia and the Womb Chair by Eero Saarinen. Knoll remains true to the Bauhaus design philosophy that furniture should complement its surrounding interior space. Knoll is Modern Always® because modern always works.
