The N701 2 Seater Sofa, created by Ethnicraft, was designed by Jacques Deneef, who uses basic materials to create a soft and cushiony masterpiece. Each 2 seater sofa is available in two different fabric colors, both providing a neutral feel to any living room. To bring the piece alive, place accent pillows and blankets. The back and seat of the sofa provide a quilted look, which adds comfort and support to the body. No legs or base are attached to the sofa, which stands on its own. The sofa can be used with any other piece of the N701 collection, which provides a modern look for living spaces.

BEWARE OF BUYING ANY PRODUCTS FROM ETHNICRAFT!!!

First off let me say that I am a supporter of small businesses having worked for one at the NY and Atlanta gift shows for years. I realize Ethnicraft is not considered a small business so maybe that is why I am getting poor customer service? I have never posted a negative review against a business until now. My husband and I purchased this sofa in the leather option. We love the couch but unfortunately in under 2 years the stitching has started to unravel. I reached out to Lumens to get it repaired. They have been more than helpful trying to resolve the issue with the manufacturer for a repair/replacement. Ethnicraft had the audacity to say that this was normal wear and tear and they denied the replacement/repair. We originally saw this couch in one of our local decor shops that has had it on their floor for at least 5 or 6 years without any of the stitching unraveling and people sitting on it constantly. My husband and I live alone, no pets and we maybe sit on it a couple hours a night if that. We had Ikea couches for 12 years that lasted better than this couch! We love the couch but I'm just so disappointed in Ethnicraft for not standing behind the repair of their products as we have several of their items in our home. Lumens has offered a small amount of money off of the couch but now I'm being forced to go to local upholstery shops to get a price on how much it would actually cost to repair it. I thought that we were paying up for quality, apparently not. If I were you Lumens I would think twice about stocking a product where the manufacturer does not stand behind it. Shame on you Ethnicraft!

Comments about N701 2 Seater Sofa

I did not buy this sofa from Lumens. Bought from a store that went out of business. Trying to save someone thousands of dollars. This Ethnicraft sofa fabric is all pilled after only a few months. Looks like I've had it for 10 years. The ribbing also makes it difficult to vacuum. I could get around that, which I didn't foresee, but the material is very poor quality.

Ethnicraft

Ethnicraft was founded by two Belgian friends traveling the world together who were struck by the use of lightwood and the singular nature of many of the pieces they encountered. They brought home several pieces and sold them, a success that would be their first of many as business partners. For the last two decades, Ethnicraft has used solid Oak that is sustainably grown as the basis of their minimal aesthetic. Creating warmth through the use of wood, their clean modern style is timeless.
