The Murmur Pendant from Uttermost, from Revelation Design, uses springy coiled metal to form an eclectic, organic shade. The open structure lets the glow filter through in a scattered pattern, casting texture onto nearby surfaces. Hung above a breakfast table or in a bedroom corner, it adds an artful accent. A single Edison socket takes a bulb up to 60 watts, sold separately, and a 15-foot fabric cord allows the height to be adjusted during installation.

Uttermost

The Uttermost venture started in 1975 when Bob and Belle Cooper opened shop in Rocky Mountain, Virginia, largely as a manufacturer of mirrors. Still family owned, Uttermost has expanded to include many more lighting fixtures in their line and has a branch in Riverside, California as well as a strong working relationship with their employees in Guanxi, China.
