A project started by designers Marcel Wanders and Casper Vissers in 2001, Moooi creates furniture, lighting and accessories for the truly intrepid lover of modern design. The name comes from the Dutch word for beautiful, adding an extra "o" to the word to express the company's "extra value in terms of beauty and uniqueness."
