This light fixture has a clean contemporary look, it looks great on my basement (installed three of them), is very well made, it is easy to install, and puts out a large amount of light, which is what I was looking for in my basement. I have an installation suggestion to make things go smoothly. The fixture attaches to an x-shaped bracket that you will need to install first. You should use the center hole in the bracket to bring out just the grounding cable from the ceiling junction box. The black and white electric cables can be fished through openings around the center. This will allow for the easier accommodation of all the cables back into the box as you attach the fixture on the bracket flush against the ceiling.

I did a lot of research, and this fixture was the brightest fixture for the best price. It's exactly what I wanted - thin, simple and just blends into the ceiling, but gives off a lot of light!
