The Vitra Miniature Plywood Elephant pays tribute to a piece that was never actually released to the public. In 1945, Charles and Ray Eames created a toy elephant using bent plywood. While this distinctive creature was eventually put into production, it was made using plastic instead of wood. This petite pachyderm is a 1:6 scale recreation of the original.

purchased for several photo shoots this adorable eames elephant is more durable than you would think. When my preschool daughter grabbed it my heart jumped but no worries it turned out to be way more durable than I thought!
