Metamorphosis 04B12 Vase

The Metamorphosis 04B12 Vase from Bomma features geometric cut patterns applied to hand-blown crystal. Designer Rony Plesl created technically demanding motifs that master cutters at Nižbor glassworks transpose onto each vase through full-day work sessions. The cutting process adds faceted surfaces to the mouth-blown crystal, transforming smooth glass into prismatic forms that redirect light. While the pattern appears uniform, minor variations reveal the hand-cut nature of the work, where even slight movements affect the final result.
