Beautiful lamp, incredibly loud dimmer!

I have been waiting to drop the money on this lamp.. Finally pulled the trigger, it showed up, seemingly in perfect shape.. Until we plugged it in.. buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. SO LOUD! As you can tell by the styling of the lamp, we have a fairly modern, open-style home.. Sound travels. So sad. Anyway, I contacted customer service, they eventually had Artemide sent out a replacement dimmer.. Carelessly, sent a black version, when the one that came on the lamp was clear/silver. Contacted customer service again, noting the discrepancy, she contacted the manufacturer, it took three weeks to get the "call tag" they issued to take back the black dimmer.. One week later, still no new dimmer. We shall see when it shows, and after I install it myself, see if it is as loud as the first one. I won't hold my breath. Very frustrated, makes me want to never buy another Artemide product again.

We love this lamp!
It's puts out a lot of light. Very sturdy and killer option with the tilt shade.
