Like its name, the Spirit Pendant from Vistosi is an ethereal personality inspired by the idea of catching light. Marco Acerbis brings his fascination for designing at different scales into this piece. Here, Acerbis tests the limits of the blown glass art in creating a multi-tiered diamond form. Using Murano glass-making traditions, the glass artists bring the shape to life with great finesse and attention to detail. The pendant’s cocoon-like surface is designed to catch artful highlights and conceal the brilliant lightbulb. This elegantly suspended piece distributes an even, atmospheric glow into the room.
