The Whirl LED Pendant from Tom Dixon centers a spiral-patterned shade in injection-blown polycarbonate, its layered geometry turning inward to create a luminous vortex of reflected light. Inspired by the op-art movement and its fascination with optical perception, the reflective surfaces produce shifting mirrored effects across the curved structure. Suspended from a slim cable, a slender steel stem and shallow dish mount hold the shade in balanced alignment, supporting the polycarbonate diffuser as it emits a clear, radiant glow.
