The Buoy Pendant from Gus Modern provides a memorable, sculptural form to inside spaces. A geometric construction fabricated from cork wood features merged geometric shapes and acts as both a light housing and shade, which appears to float in midair, suspended via a slim cord. The telescoping sections surround the lamping, creating a spotlight while adding a welcome bit of intricacy and sculpture to its surroundings. The cork wood is uniquely textured and acts as a sound baffle, softening harsh sound waves and creating a friendlier atmosphere.
