Our guest bedrooms have the traditional single overhead light in the middle of the room. We enjoy having artwork and hangings on the walls, and with these rather small low-voltage 50 Watt lights we can direct light and highlight them. As we move things around, we can move the lights with them. Put on a dimmer and the lights create a soft atmosphere.

I work with touring museum exhibits, and have several hundred of these amongst a few exhibits. When they are being used, they are on all day for months at a time, and have to go through being transported every few months as well. Out of the several hundred that we own, we've only lost a couple of them to actual hardware failures in several years of operation. They also seem to hold up to some abuse. I continue to spec this model.
