These lamps are exactly what I was looking for to update my entry way. They are beautiful and I love the low light it emits under the black shade. A little disappointed in the toggle switch on the cord, however. Would have expected an on/off switch at the bulb base given the price. Fortunately, the toggle hides behind my entry table. The toggle is 7" from the lamp base, FYI.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
