The BuzziZepp LED Linear Suspension from BuzziSpace makes a space feel distinct by trapping one’s conversations with sound absorption and washing the area below with a clean, uniform light source. Creator Alain Giles’s eye for social and interactive design solutions underscores this piece’s versatility in the open or intimate space. Giles solves the problem of the unwanted traveling of sounds with wide passes of acoustically-containing fabric. This fabric takes on a streamlined shape that appears to float in the air. A stripe of LEDs runs across the inside of the subtly concave shape. The LEDs turn on to create an even spread of clean illumination.
