Crafted with the inspiration of Folies Bergeres star Anne-Marie Chassaigne and her stage name Liane de Pougy, its graceful simplicity is obtained by suspending a curved metal bar from circular canopies using a slender downrod at each end. The LED lamping blazes out below, gentled into an even warmth by a series of handcrafted and deceptively delicate-looking copper chains that wrap around it.
Founded in 2015 by Audrée L. Larose and Félix Guyon, Larose Guyon creates sculptural lighting and objects inspired by its headquarters’ surrounding landscapes. Its unique designs are handmade by local artisans in the duo’s Quebec workshop, fusing traditional craftsmanship with expressive modernity.
