Best suited to tall-ceilinged locations, it starts with an aluminum canopy, sending down slender, parallel cables to an organic envelope assembled from a metal-capped wood structure with a shape inspired by designer Nick Sheridan’s youthful days in a sailboat. The fluid, streamlined shade structure takes on an organic character, gentling bright glare from above and exchanging it for a pleasing glow that brings out the fixture’s striped, swirling contours.
