Modern Rope Lights | String & Cove Lighting

Why We Love Rope Lights

Flexibility is always a great quality to have, especially when it comes to accent lighting. Rope lights make it easy to add this type of lighting to hard to reach spots like under cabinets, in display cases and outside under the patio steps. These string lights and cove lights are playful and fun to use, and they're just as easy to coil up and put away when they're not needed. And the selection of LED tape lights couldn't be easier to install into your lighting mix.

Where Rope & Cove Lights Work Best

LED rope lights are particularly great for adding accent lighting to crown molding near the ceiling or under low patio steps for better safety and ambiance. Their long life means you don't have to change out the bulbs, and that's especially handy with these hard to reach spots. Cove lights are also often used for toe kick lighting around bars for their distinctive look and safety features. When shopping, be mindful of the required accessories needed to make rope and cove lights work best. You can also use LED tape in outdoor spaces to create an element of safety on your deck or patio. Wherever you need extra accent lighting, you'll find it within this assortment of fixtures.

Rope Lights for Every Style

While accent lights are not aimed to be as decorative as a pendant or chandelier, they still have the ability to amplify the look and feel of a room. Whether you are looking to rope lights to brighten up your countertops or using LED tape in the office, you're guaranteed to notice the impact. Alloy LED specializes in tape lighting and you'll find it's easy to create varying configurations to fit your exact application. For a modern touch, check out the options from WAC Lighting. How to Choose the Best Rope & Tape Lights

While LED and rope lights are adjustable to different lengths, you will still want to measure the area where you plan to install this type of lighting. In addition to length, you'll want to verify the fixture creates the right amount of lighting for your application. Be sure to see the fixture's information about lumen output to gauge its brightness. And check the fixture's technical specifications as well to be sure it will fit into your existing electrical system. Lastly, if you're using LED tape lights or rope lights for an outdoor space, ensure it is UL rated for safe exterior use.
