A mesmerizing piece unlike any other, the Lasso Pendant by SkLO brings a sculptural accent and warm, inviting light to its surroundings. From designer duo Paul Pavlak and Karen Gilbert, this fixture showcases the possibilities of handblown Czech glass when combined with modern design. The piece is held by a slender brass stem dropped from a circular canopy. A horizontal arm suspends a looping series of slender glass rope, surrounding its incandescent lamping to catch and filter its light.

SkLO

Located in Northern California, SkLO is the brainchild of artist Karen Gilbert, architect Paul Pavlak, and Czech-native Pavel Hanousek. The three met in Healdsburg in 2009, and after discovering a unanimous passion for hand-blown glass (sklo means “glass” in Czech), they decided to create a multi-disciplinary studio focusing on glass lighting and accessory design.
