Not too big, too small, too thin or too thick. Plenty of light for fine line drawing on a table or desk. I use it on a glass table and under a glass table to illuminate and back light my work. Finally a lamp that can be postioned to any angle. Need to be mindful of how each joint rotates. Joints are a little stiff but hold their position well. I love this lamp

I looked a very long time before deciding on this lamp. I can honestly say I'm 100% satisfied. First, the appearance is artful in a minimalist/industrial sort of way. I would describe the finish as a very dark, matte charcoal. I purchased the warm color temperature which is just right, but still on the white side. The lamp casts a near perfect, wide and even spot across a natural work area. The light bar itself rotates 360 degrees. With the full range dimmer, I'm able to illuminate myself for online video and videoconferencing. That was a big bonus! I would have a hard time recommending any improvements.

This was bought for a "multi purpose room"; Tv/loungey/hangout area with a corner desk. With 2 very rowdy dogs there's no way we can have table lamps. This light is on the desk, in the dark corner and does double duty (for now) as work/task light and general illumination. This light literally twists, turn and pulls in any direction imaginable. I was unsure whether to get this or the smaller version. Even with careful measuring, I think I sorta wish I had gotten the smaller. This one isn't too large or overpowering, I just underestimated its contortionist abilities! I love the touch strip to regulate the light. Very handy! I'm thinking about the floor size in this style for putting next to the couch in the same room. It will provide reading light and general light without being so large that the dogs knock it over during a play session. If you have limited space and need a modern and stylish light for double duty, you won't be disappointed in this light!

If you work at a monitor or other stationary device, this light is perfect as it allows you to position the light at the workspace and not at you. No glare, no added heat. And the sleek, skinny styling is such that you don't notice it. It blends into the desk set up and the various joints allow for perfect positioning to direct the light exactly where you want it.

This desk lamp is a very versatile task lamp that's stylishly minimalistic. I'd expect to pay double for something that was so well thought through in design. It is very sturdy, of quality materials; a cool touch strip allowing you to turn on or off or dim at any brightness; its LED emits a clean light and no heat. It's arms adjust to any height or extension across a desk and can also turn to focus in an angled direction. Will also purchase the floor lamp version for a living room corner for reading and a clamp-on for another desk area for daily work. Deliverable was swift arriving on promised date.
