In his efforts to hide the seams of pressed glass, Oiva Toikka came up with rows of glass droplets. This unique decorative technique led to the creation of the bubbly Kastehelmi collection (or "dewdrops," in Finnish), which includes the Iittala Kastehelmi Bowl, Set of 2. The effect on a table is sparkling and pleasingly textural.
From humble beginnings as a small glass factory, today Iittala offers a wide variety of modern Scandinavian housewares that demonstrate the company's commitment to design quality and product longevity.
