JWDA has been a disappointment. The dimmer switch has to to be rotated considerably before the light goes on

Perhaps Lumens has corrected this by now, but when I bought this lamp in January 2026 Lumens said it delivers 450 lumens, but in fact (as I learned from reading the manufacturer's literature when I received the lamp) it only delivers 300 lumens. On top of that, it rather oddly is not very dimmable. It has a huge dimmer nob, but for the first 75% of turning that knob, nothing happens. In the final 25% of turning it, the light first flickers and then quickly ramps up to the full 300 lumens. I would say the effective dimming range is from 225 lumens to 300 lumens, not from 0 to 300 lumens.

perfect light! This product was a gift and it was a Christmas of light: Lumens, votives, beeswax candle, a fabulous reading light and a bright green lightedf collar for our dog. How about that for the importance of light!

Really weak dimming

Imagine the dial is a clock. The dial starts at 12 and can turn fully to 9pm. When rotating, no light comes on until ~5pm, so it gets bright very quickly. Not worth the money, despite the looks.
