The Nemo In the Wind LED Floor Lamp is a whirlwind of movement. Aluminum columns are twisted and contorted before meeting together at each end, standing strong and balanced with minimal effort. Stretches of LED light modules span the interior length of each metal strip, and shielded with an opal diffuser, spread an even illumination in and around the entire structure. Although emitting an impressive amount of light, the location and diffusion of light from still makes for an attractive ambient light source.
Founded in 1993 by Franco Cassina and Carlo Forcolini in Italy, Nemo was established to recreate the lighting pieces that best represented the "Golden Age" of Italian lighting design of the 1960s and 70s. Nemo acquired ItalianaLuce five years later, offering a line of clean, relaxed modern lighting that provided an informal counterpoint to the vintage mid-century authenticity found in Nemos modernist line of Franco Albini-designed lighting.
