The Hudson Floor Lamp from Uttermost breaks a slim gold-plated steel stem with a solid travertine sphere midway between the base and shade. Created by David Frisch, the pared-back arrangement contrasts natural stone with polished metal. A matching round travertine foot anchors the lamp, while crisp white linen covers the drum shade above. Broad illumination spreads around sofas, lounge chairs, or consoles, making the tall fixture useful where a narrow footprint and a single stone accent can add layered character without crowding nearby furniture.

Uttermost

The Uttermost venture started in 1975 when Bob and Belle Cooper opened shop in Rocky Mountain, Virginia, largely as a manufacturer of mirrors. Still family owned, Uttermost has expanded to include many more lighting fixtures in their line and has a branch in Riverside, California as well as a strong working relationship with their employees in Guanxi, China.
