The Hold Pin 1.09 Mini Pendant from SkLO features an eye-catching glass vessel that appears to melt and droop from its custom-fabricated brass hook. The hand-blown glass shade hangs elegantly from a double-ended brass hook, designed to the specified length, suspended from a loop at the canopy. A fabric-wrapped electrical cord, exposed for a contemporary touch, extends from the canopy and holds the brass socket, suspending the light bulb within the open top of the glass. This intricate design blends fluidity and craftsmanship.

Located in Northern California, SkLO is the brainchild of artist Karen Gilbert, architect Paul Pavlak, and Czech-native Pavel Hanousek. The three met in Healdsburg in 2009, and after discovering a unanimous passion for hand-blown glass (sklo means “glass” in Czech), they decided to create a multi-disciplinary studio focusing on glass lighting and accessory design.
