Cleaned, stained, and buffed by hand, chunky steel sleeves with a structured, cylindrical look each house a bulb that can be hidden within these forms or lowered to peek out for a cool, contemporary composition. Suspended from a round canopy, these pieces are distilled down only to the necessary elements as they lend a warm and welcoming layer of light to their surroundings.
John Beck Steel has an unapologetic attitude when it comes to the virtues of hot rolled steel. Based in the heartland of the USA, this small studio gets down to the nitty gritty of machine-based production, working exclusively with welded steel and solid wood for their range of industrial lighting designs. Each fixture is designed and handmade in Edwardsville, Illinois.
