The Helsinki Double Wall Sconce from Maxim Lighting is a transitional marvel that showcases Scandinavian design cues. It is recognized for its distinctive slits that line the tapered steel framework. The sloping nature of the sconce’s body forms an hourglass-like profile that holds your attention. Helsinki is secured by a wall-mounted backplate. The central banding of this fixture forms a focal point as brilliant LED light emanates throughout your surroundings. You can change the brightness level using a separately sold ELV dimmer.

Maxim Lighting

Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
