The Harlequin Table Lamp from Jamie Young Co. brings a graphic, pattern-forward sensibility to a handcrafted ceramic base. Expert artisans hand-stamp a repeating motif directly onto the ceramic, then layer in additional hand-painted details that give the surface a richness beyond the print alone. A white linen drum shade and brass ball finial keep the top half composed. Each base is made by hand, and therefore, the ceramic carries its own subtle tonal and textural variations, which are considered part of the design rather than a flaw.

In 1997, Jamie Young Jeter and her husband David Jeter took a day trip to Mexico and returned with a car full of flower pots. After selling the lot to a local florist, they realized the market for unique garden pots was wide open and began to produce them. As they tinkered with designs, they realized the pots would make interesting lamp bases, and the Jamie Young Company was born.
