- To remove new rug “fuzz”, brush gently with a soft bristle brush in the direction of the pile; and then use your vacuum cleaner, with wheels in the nozzle in the same direction. If threads protrude from the surface of the rug, simply cut them so that they are flush. Do not wet your rug as natural dyes are used. Do not expose your rug to the sun for long periods, as they may fade. If spills occur, use very small amounts of cleaning product.
