The lamp is very nice - stylish and attractive. Beautiful globe. It is not as tall as we envisioned it, even though we measured, but it works. The quality seems good, with one exception. The dimmer is a bit weird. It dims very little as one pushes the lever, then it suddenly dims a lot. Delivery was vexing. Poor instructions as to what, exactly, would happen with the shipping company (they call us for an appointment, or we make appointment via the website - while item in transit?) and an old telephone number associated with our delivery address (maybe our fault, but not sure, since the # is very old) made it hard to get a delivery time scheduled. Finally, we called the shipping company and got the delivery set up (4-hour window). They were to call us when they were near, but no call was made. I waited all afternoon for the delivery. When my husband got home, he mentioned the lamp on a pallet sitting by the side entrance of our house. It was delivered sometime during that afternoon - no contact with me and no signature!! Very poorly done! I would want Lumens to go through all of the delivery details with us, and make sure their shipper will actually do what they say they will, before purchasing an expensive item from them, again. We're sure glad it didn't rain, that day, and that someone didn't steal the lamp!

I love this lamp. I bought one for my main home, then bought another for a vacation home. It's solid as a rock and is extremely well packaged. I'd recommend upgraded shipping, so the freight company will bring the three boxes to your front door. It comes on a wooden pallet with the three packages (lamp, shade and bulb) wrapped together in plastic wrap.

Great design, well manufactured.

Just what I needed in my clean-line, newly renovated living room. Had been looking to replicate a 1960s mushroom-shaped globe lamp I once had--this globe is rounder but has a similar vibe. Would have given it five stars if not for the clunky black cord and dimmer that does not at all harmonize with the clean silver lines of the lamp base. Fortunately, I could tuck most of the electrical wires and the dimmer out of sight.
