The GEEN-A Floor Lamp from Kartell provides enchanting illumination to inside spaces. Excellent in small alcoves or strategically positioned in a reading nook, its powder-coated steel rises from a cylindrical base along a central stem, seating strong, power-efficient LED lamping beneath a dome-shaped shade. The stem continues through the shade to terminate in a crossbar finial, while the opaque curves of the dome focus a warm wash of direct downlight around the fixture in a focused, fabulous display.

Kartell

Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
