I bought the 2700K, wanting a soft light. At its brightest, it is warm. But the lower the light is dimmed the colder and grayer it gets. And this is a VERY bright fixture, almost glaringly bright. I would use it sparingly (and don't consider it for a spot you would be facing, such as next to a mirror). Quality seems good, overall looks is okay, but a bit heavy.
