Ring of illumination. The Plaff-on! Wall / Flushmount by Marset is a simple, compact design that brings light to interior spaces without interfering with its aesthetics. Its cylindrical structure made of aluminum features an opening at the bottom and is mounted flush against the ceiling with a circular plate. A cylindrical glass diffuser within the outer frame uses halogen bulbs (not included) to deliver direct lighting. The light also filters upwards to create a soft halo on the ceiling or wall it's installed on.

This light is great. I installed the light in a foyer in which I wallpapered the ceiling. The light illuminates the foyer but also reverse lights the ceiling....it makes the wallpaper glow and makes the entire foyer a remarkable room. Love this light

Impactful but subtle

This piece is a great scale for a space that needs something visually impactful, but not physically. It doesn't hang low, hugs the ceiling well, but the mix use of materials really gives it a ton of weight and interest. The first one came damaged, but was quickly replaced by the wonderful Lumens team. I recommend this fixture all the time to clients.

Subtle But Still Makes a Statement!

As soon as I saw this I knew it would be perfect. I have low ceilings and the entry was small. This was the fixture for the space plus it is close to the ceiling. The light given off from the fixture is quite good and lights up the entry space fully giving a nice halo of light above as well. The style is understated but the black frame against the white diffuser and light is striking and very modern.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Marset

Marset was established in 1942 as a family business, not making lighting, but as a foundry. That foundation in casting metals did eventually segue into lighting design, however, with Francisco Marset formally establishing Marset Illuminacion in 1965. The decades spent experimenting with and molding metal translated well into the contemporary lighting industry: manipulating all kinds of materials to create unexpected, atmospheric lighting effects.
