The fixture looks and feel as described. Very attractive. However, the LED light is not bright white that is preferable in kitchens and baths. Unlike some other fixtures, the color can't be adjusted. Highly recommended for all other areas except kitchens and baths.

It shows a beautifully brushed gold rim, but it is a dark gold. Not pretty at all, but I ran out of time and the electrician had to install.
Great light for closet or hallway
I bought this for a laundry closet/pantry. It gives off bright light, soft white tone, much better source of light than my old light. Looks pretty, easy to install.
