Florence Knoll's credenza designs are reserved and cool, severe and angular, reflecting the objective perfectionism of the early 1960s. The Two-Door + Five-Drawer Credenza includes four box drawers (each with one removable partition), one full-extension file drawer with two metal bars for hanging files, and two storage cabinets on the far left with two adjustable shelves for use in one or both cabinets. The credenza is available in four body veneers, and a choice of matching veneer or marble top options. Marble tops (with the exception of White Extra and Carrara marbles) can be ordered with a polished finish or satin (matte) finish. The satin finished marble creates a matte sheen that gives the top a natural honed appearance while offering the same protective qualities as the Polished polyester coated marble finish. The credenza base is available in either Polished Chrome or Satin Chrome.

With the large choicesof wood, metal finish, marble top colors (or no marble), drawings or no drawings, etc... you can really select a piece which fits any interior and storage needs. The credenza has perfect proportions and is very elegant. With that said I was very disapointed to see that the piece was shipped despite an obvious manufacturing flaw - the doors are not aligned - which should be easy to fix (I hope) but should have been noticed and fixed before leaving the factory. For a brand of the Knoll standing, and for a piece so highly priced, you expect a perfect product.
