It's beautifully shaped, simple lines that run smoothly from the solid base to the ethereal diffuser. The light that comes from the diffuser is as bright as you want it to be, but gentle on the eyes. Also, works very well after you get used to the ring switch.

The fixture is elegant, with a beautifully crafted glass globe. Particularly nice is the the glass stem which leads to the glove, which also diffuses a bit of light. The glass portions are connected to the metal shaft with a stainless steel touch-controlled dimming device that is very subtle and quite intuitive. The only drawback criticism is that at the base of the globe their is a minor bit of shadowing through of the fastening within. Overall I am very happy with the fixture.
