Key Features
The Float Table Lamp by SkLO brings an artful air to interiors with a simple design made of handblown Czech glass. A spherical shade crafted by the hands of skilled artisans is placed directly on a floor or tabletop, with a slightly flattened bottom offering a sturdy base. A torch-polished open mouth detail adds a unique and organic touch, while a brass socket holds its light on one side of the piece. This piece expresses designers Karen Gilbert and Paul Pavlak’s desire to showcase the delicate process and outcome of traditional Czech glasswork.
SkLO is a collaborative design company founded by Pavel Hanousek, Karen Gilbert, and Paul Pavlak. Although Based out of Healdsburg, CA, the team works with master glassmakers in the Czech Republic importing hand-blown glass for their lighting fixtures in the SkLO: LIT collection. Slight variation in each piece is welcome, emphasizing the beauty of the handmade process with each design.
