The Fabbian line is one of the more creatively designed lighting products and it never fails to please and creates a statement when part of the overall design plan. I became familiar with the line about 4 years ago and has been part of my design repertoire for new and renovated projects. It is well made and meets our UL requirements here in the U.S. I always get a "wow" comment when my clients see these fixtures installed. It never disappoints.

We ordered two Lei lights and the housing to be installed in our small condo. The bathroom doesn't have any windows, and these lights were installed over the sink. With LED bulbs, they are perhaps 200% brighter than the previous hanging pendant lights. Yet what makes the price and the installation project most worthwhile is the pure and somewhat surreal beauty of the illumination, as if the the sun were shining through crystalline skylights in a cave, invoking feelings of tranquility.

Beautiful recessed light! The crystal hangs about 1.5 inches with an etched facing. The steel is set in so you see the silver shining through the crystal. However, there is no cover on the opening for the lightbulb. I selected them from the bathroom products section thinking they would be appropriate for the shower area. I don't know if exposed light bulbs is what you would want if using them for the same purpose, i.e., near water/steam.
